What a great name. Irrelevant Celebrities is actually Luke Foskey (Young Edits) and Richard Alexander from Australia. I guess you could kinda say they sound somewhat like a cross between Tiger & Woods (but more italo) and Cut Copy…(ish)….just for perspective. Young Edits/ Youth alone has put out a shitload of edits including remakes of Aaliyah, Stevie Nicks, and James Blake. Foskey and Alexander’s tag-team interpretations are just as genius. I smiled when I first heard them and The Magician (former half of Aeroplane) featured one of them on one of his popular mixtapes, which means they’re getting some nice play 😉
