Behold Slow Hands from the Wolf + Lamb and Permanent Vacation families. Ryan Cavanagh claims to be “one of the main proponents of the slo-mo sultry house movement” which I guess is true considering the pack he runs with. To me his music sounds more like nu disco mixed with house, although I think producers are getting a bit fatigued with the term nu disco. I’m just now starting to hear this guy’s original tracks which are just as good if not better than his remixes.
Here’s a little more info:
“Slow Hands is about emotion, about warmth, about creative freedom. He makes music that gets you thinking and feeling as much as dancing, and also does so alongside friend John Paul Jones (Tom Croose) as Worst Friends, and friend Nick Dalagelis (One of Them) as Male Madame. So, too, will the future see him develop his live set. However you digest him, then, you’ll do so with a smile on your face and a glow in your heart. ”
