Gui Boratto

May 11, 2010

Some really good stuff has been coming out of Brazil lately – particularly Gui Boratto. 30 something year-old Boratto is a man of many hats from architect, to musician, to composer, and producer he’s definitely one of Sao Paulo’s electronic music gurus. He’s worked with labels such as Kompakt, K2, Audiomatique, Harthouse, and Plastic City.

I recently found a new version of his track “Azzura” and I’m extremely impressed. I rocked out to it all weekend while driving to Florida’s west coast. It’s a great cruising tune along with his remix of Massive Attack’s “Paradise Circus”.

Good stuff.
