Al Usher

November 16, 2010

It’s been a few hours of trying to do homework on  Al Usher (UK) and all the digging has only amounted to a few paragraphs off the Resident Advisor website. They write: “Al Usher’s name usually appears alongside Ewan Pearson’s (with whom he collaborates as Partial Arts, the duo behind the infectious ‘Trauermusik’) or encased in parentheses as a remixer for Zero 7, Camille and Amy Winehouse among others…”

Truth is the music speaks for itself although RA was right on by using the word infectious. Nowadays Al Usher is getting his stuff remixed instead. Prins Thomas, Gatto Fritto, and Bogdan Irkük are some of the names on his “Lullaby For Robert Remixes” EP and Tensnake just dropped the single on his new compilation “In The House“.  His latest 12″ “Hilversum” is pretty damn rad as well.
