Club 8
I was beginning to lose hope in Swedish bands lately until Club 8 came out with their new album last month: The People’s Record. They’re kind of a little JJ-ish with a tiny bit of Rainbow Arabia…kind of. I’m actually wondering what to call this type of music- maybe something like Nordic Tropicalia? Nah.
Karolina Komstedt & Johan Angergård started Club 8 in 1995 and have put 7 albums so far. The very sweet looking blond duet has apparently toured all over the world so, they obviously owe us a visit. Here are a few tracks off their latest full length along with a Pallers remix of Western Hospitality.
